You should be able to simply Plug and Play to begin to use the controller with your computer. Any software that originally came with this unit would no longer be available, however, this controller will work with any MIDI capable software, such as Garage Band, which should be on your mac already.

Hello Yannick, Yes, the keystation 49e is also a class-compliant device that should work with any midi capable software like Garageband. Sorry about that! You should see the Keystation 49e as an available device when connected to the computer within Garageband. If you are not seeing it as available, I would recommend trying a different USB cable, and even a different port on the computer.
If you still do not see it as available, it's possible that this could be a hardware related problem. I Hope this helps!
